Wonlove
On August 22, 2009 I got hitched to Andrea Annette Selkregg on top of the Ecotrust building in Portland, Oregon. She designed her own dress as well as the interior design of the wedding site. I designed the invitation and web site.My wife wanted me to paint a simple backdrop using geometric shapes and the colors of the wedding. I took it a step further and did a live piece on top of the shapes , while doing my vows (11 things I loved about Andrea).
Invitation: Design, printed and assembled by my wife and I.
The backdrop piece: 4' x 8'. Geometric shapes were painted first and then the piece was hung in place as a backdrop. As a guest book, I cut out "cloud" shapes for our guests to fill out before the ceremony. During my vows, I surprised Andrea with a live drawing of Hanalei bay. The use of Hanalei bay was to illustrate where we first fell totally in love as well as the ability to have roots and wings at the same time.
After a long break from playing with Flash, I returned to do a site for my wedding.I developed this site under management of my wife, Andrea. I used the pear metaphor because Andrea once told me that the good pears were the golden ones.
